Youth for Youth (Y4Y), a youth organization with a vision of youth development, recently organized Miss Teen College 2008. The competition was successfully accomplished with the representation of large number of participants from various colleges of Kathmandu. Here, we present you the three winners of Miss Teen College 2008.
Prinsha Shrestha (Miss Teen College 2008):
This 11th grader teen from Ace Higher Secondary School made her college proud when she was declared as the winner of Miss Teen College 2008. With a rare hobby of chatting over phone, Prinsha considers her achievement as a blend of her mother’s inspiration and her hard work. Standing tall on 5.6”, if given chances, she would love doing ramp modeling but music videos can be counted only on parent’s permission. Apart from college, studies and friends, fighting over remote control at home falls under her daily routine. Currently, she is enjoying her time to the fullest as the winner.
Meghna Shrestha (1st Runner Up)
A die hard fan of cricket, Meghna Shrestha loves doing cricket commentary rather than playing. A 12th standard student of management at Himalayan Whitehouse, she simply loves Sachin Tendulkar and Irfan Pathan. Though she didn’t win any title at Miss University 2008, but the experience helped her to grab the 1st Runner Up position in Miss Teen College 2008. Certain changes in her daily life after the competition have turned Meghna even more confident and positive towards life. Happy and content with her achievement, this teen is looking forward for the celebration.
Samyogi Rai (2nd Runner Up):
Innocent is what she looks but confident is what she is, as she conquered the 3rd position at the Miss Teen College 2008. Currently, she is perusing her 11th class at Don Bosco College. She loves staying at home and helping her mother in the household in her free time. Samyogi adores her long black hair and considers it as her asset. The victory was unexpected for her, as she shares that she was extremely nervous at the competition. She doesn’t crave for music videos, modeling and acting but she is fascinated by news reading. Continuation of studies is the only plan for her at the current time.

The fact is I really don’t have any view regarding the present condition of the country. From my eye, I can see just the mess.

Everyone has a right to dream, so dream it but work hard and be confident to fulfill your dream. In other words get the right training and attitude before entering this industry.
