यसबेला मलाई एक सभासदको याद आयो । उनी कार्यक्रमका प्रमुख अतिथि थिए, मानव अधिकार चलचित्र महोत्सव उद्घाटनको । केही साताअघि हामी केही पत्रकार, चलचित्रकर्मी नवीन सुब्बा, मिडिया जागरण सेन्टरका पदाधिकारीहरु र ती सभासद् आहुती हामी कलेजमा कसरी संसारभर मानवअधिकार हनन् भइरहेको छ र यस हननबाट नेपालीहरुले के कस्तो शिक्षा पाउन सकिन्छ भन्ने विषयमा जानकारी दिँदै थिए ।
र, हामी बाटामा जाँदै गर्दा मिस नेपाल कार्यक्रम किन हुनुहुँदैन भनेर उनले केही कुरा राखेका थिए । मैले उनको कुरा प्रतिवाद गरेँ र मिस नेपालमा भएका गल्ती वा कमजोरी यदि छन् भने सच्याउनु पर्छ तर रोकिनु चाहिँ हुँदैन ।
तब उनले एक्कासि मलाई भने, तपाइँ त कांग्रेसी सोचको व्यक्ति हुनुहुँदो रहेछ ।
म अवाक् भएँ । हामीले कस्ता सभासदलाई संविधानसभा निर्माण गर्न पठाएका रहेछौँ - अनि कस्ता सभासद छानेछौँ कि मिस नेपाल कार्यक्रम हुनुहुँदैन भन्ने मानसिकता र सोचका व्यक्ति, थोरै पनि कार्यक्रमको गम्भीरता नबुझेका व्यक्ति र कम्तीमा कार्यक्रममा भाग लिन चाहने युवतीहरुको मानव अधिकार कुण्ठित भइरहेको छ भन्ने सोच्दै नसोची उनले मलाई एकै पटकमा मेरो सोच कस्तो भन्ने प्रष्ट्याइरहेका थिए ।
मैले ती मिस नेपालमा भाग लिने प्रतियोगीहरुको पीडा खुल्दै जाँदा तिनै सभासद् आहुतीलाई सम्भिmएँ । मलाई यतिबेला आहुतीलाई प्रश्न सोध्न मन लागेको छ, सभासदज्यू तपाइँले मानव अधिकारको भाषण गर्दै जाँदा तिनको मानव अधिकारका बारेमा अलिकति ख्याल राखिदिनु भए बेस हुने थियो ।
र, अर्कोतिर ती १६ जना प्रतियोगीहरुले अब मिस नेपाल होस् या नहोस् तर आफूहरु एउटा जागरुक महिलाका हिसाबले नेपाल र नेपालीका विषयमा आवाज उठाइरहने, मानव अधिकार र चेलिबेटी बेचबिखन र आन्तरिक शरणार्थीका विषयमा बोलिरहने बताइरहेका थिए ।
उनीहरुले यस्तो घोषणा गर्दा मलाई लागिरहेको थियो, त्यो कार्यक्रममा त एक जना मात्र मिस नेपाल हुन्थिन् तर कार्यक्रम रोकिएर एउटा फाइदा भयो, हामीले १६ जना मिस नेपाल एक साथ पायौँ ।

Zenisha Moktan (one of the contestant of Miss Nepal pageant) with tears in her eyes attended a conference organized yesterday by RISE (Rights if Individuals for Social Empowerment) at DECC (Direction Exhibition and Convention Centre), World Trade Centre, Tripureshwor.
Reportedly, a bogus sexual video was getting popularity among the youths that was believed for Zenisha Moktan to have featured. The fake video pushed her in a weak position resulting her to cry. Examples of such acts are plenty where people who become victim have to suffer a lot.
